Yes, Lightroom CC brings a different flavor compared to its Classic sibling, and it has some pros and cons. Personally, I still recommend Lightroom Classic for people editing a LOT of photos and who do wedding photography professionally. This is because it has a few extra features and keyboard shortcuts… Camera calibration, adjust exposure with the “.” key, a few local adjustment settings and slightly better organization of sessions… BUT the new Lightroom CC has a few advantages of it’s own, which means it comes down to your personal preference.

After editing this wedding in BOTH Lightroom Classic (Click here to watch it now) and Lightroom CC, I can safely say I’ll be sticking with Lightroom Classic for now. BUT I was pleasantly surprised with the fact that the new Lightroom CC did everything I needed to edit a full wedding (Albeit a little bit slower)

While it may offer fewer advanced features compared to Classic, its approachable nature and multi-device capabilities make it a valuable asset in your editing toolbox.

After this stage, I’d still do a 2nd pass on all the photos. The 2nd pass is just me finessing things, going through and correcting things I may have missed first time around or stand out. For example, warming up the white balance in a photo by a nudge, adjusting the exposure down by .1 or .2, or if something catches my eye that I missed the first time around (or that I over edited and on 2nd glance is too obvious)
